It seems that Sen. McCain has much to say these days about nothing. He complains about not getting the press he thinks he deserves, and when he is in the in the cameras lens his whole conversation is about Obama, go figure.
Hi Americans; What do you think of the current oil situation, and the way it has been manipulated? This is what I think. I think it has been a masterful move by the republicans and the oil industry. First the cost was allowed to spend out of control, or maybe even aided. To the point where a lot of Americans would agree to most anything to gain a little relieve and the pump. Than with out any fanfare the idea of America oil companies taking over the Iraq oil fields was subtly dropped on us. First with the seeming debate of offshore drilling in places in America where the average American would disagree with. You know, the old either or are situation. So my prayer today is I hope the people will see throw this. I hope it will not be the same old anything for the almighty dollar.
It is a terrible day when those we are choosing to be leaders of this great country, feel they have to win votes by belittling others, especially the wives of the men who are vying for the the honor of serving us all. I do not believe a person who tries to obtain a possession of servant, could possibly be a good president when they are sarcastic and arrogant to anyone and everyone who dares to disagree with them. I do mean servant, because to be the leader you must be willing to serve. I am a christian and I believe in the word of God. It tells me leaders must be servants, and not in the way men mean it today. Our leaders seem to think smiling and waving is serving. These folks need to learn how to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty doing honorable work that is in the best interest of all the people of the great nation, as well as being and shining example to the entire world. On June 13th 2008 we celebrated the home going of one of our beloved sons, Tim Russert. According to the testimony of many, he did his work honorably; too bad that will not be the legacy of more of our favorite sons.
